The Washington Post

Dr. Jessica Zucker’s debut piece for The Washington Post explores issues surrounding pregnancy loss and its aftermath.

Jessica created an illustrated guide in collaboration with a cartoonist titled “What to Expect During a Pregnancy After a Pregnancy Loss”.

She collaborated with artist/illustrator Kimothy Joy on a piece that challenges culture to rethink the notion of when to share pregnancy news. The idea of waiting until we are “out of the woods” into the second trimester positions women who miscarry to be isolated in grief. (forthcoming 11/2017)
