Dr. Jessica Zucker is the creator of the #IHadAMiscarriage campaign. She launched the campaign in 2014 with her first New York Times essay. She’s written dozens of pieces about the pain and politics of pregnancy loss for outlets such as: The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian, Refinery29, TIME, Mashable, Motherwell, Mother, Bitch Magazine, Us Weekly, and elsewhere.
In 2015, Dr. Zucker created a line of pregnancy/baby loss cards in an effort to fill a gaping hole in the marketplace, the cultural conversation, and provide concrete ways for people to support one another in the midst of grief. The cards galvanized hundreds of pieces of press.
In 2016, Jessica launched a line of tees and enamel pins with the aim of promoting intergenerational conversations surrounding loss.
She also curates loss journeys on Instagram @IHadAMiscarriage: Stories From Around the World.
